I am an illustrator and painter living and working in the Pacific Northwest. I grew up in coastal Virginia and after earning a BFA in painting and graphic design, moved between Brooklyn and Portland for a few years. I started my career creating small run mini books with themes of myths, legends, and character journeys. I use traditional media to build multi-faceted universes exploring landscapes and character narratives. I love folktales and myths and like to incorporate painted textiles and patterns into my work, a reflection of nearly a decade running a handweaving studio, Loom Room Textiles and a love of craft.
I occasionally put one off textile items up in my shop in addition to mini books, if you are looking for something in particular feel free to reach out. For illustration commissions and inquiries please email.
